I'm Judy Le, and I'm endorsed by the Albemarle County Democratic Party for the Rivanna seat on the Albemarle County School Board. I'm running to work for equity in our schools. Read an article about my candidacy here.

When our family came to Albemarle County in 2015, my husband and I looked for a home with just one thing in mind: a good school for our son. We researched and chose Hollymead Elementary School. With a tiny moving window, we found only one available house in the district — and rushed to get into it. Our son is having a great school experience, and we feel very fortunate.
But an excellent education should not depend on luck or fortune. Every child has that right. That's why I run.
As a journalist for decades, I served my community. I know how to listen, dig deep and ask hard questions to find the right solutions. And as a mom whose very heart leaves her chest and walks to school each morning, I'm passionate about Albemarle County Public Schools.
On the School Board, I'll seek to serve our entire community.
I will work to expand access to high-quality after-school programs, push for efforts to close the opportunity gaps that persist for our students, and to make sure parents know how to access the necessary services. I'll support development opportunities for our current teachers and staff, as well as pushing for ways to attract and retain a high-quality, representative group of teachers and staffers to serve all our students. And most importantly, I'll listen to your concerns about issues — and I'll work toward solutions.
